stream new ringo deathstarr lp 'mauve'

Austin’s Ringo Deathstarr will drop their second full length next week. Unlike yesterday’s Slowdive influenced track from Tamaryn, these Texas shoegazers prefer the feedback assault of My Bloody Valentine.

New album Mauve is loud and brash much like NYC’s A Place To Bury Strangers, but Ringo Deathstarr have a sound that’s more true to the original “scene that celebrates itself.” In fact, close your eyes and imagine listening to this album stream at a Tower Records listening station circa ’92:

Mauve is out next Tuesday on Sonic Unyon.
