It’s no secret, I love the debut album from Brooklyn dream pop act DIIV. Oshin is tuneful, jangly and effortlessly cool…  the kind of guitar album I’m always hoping to find.

Across the Hudson in New Jersey, Dayve Hawk — otherwise known as Memory Tapes — reworked one of Oshin‘s standout tracks, “Follow”. The steel drums, thumping beat and closing guitar solo completely transform the straightforward original into a tropical summertime jam:
