M83‘s Hurry Up, We’re Dreaming was much anticipated, and the ambitious double album seems to have delivered against most expectations.

Album track “Wait,” and its brand new video, sum up the grandiose vision of Anthony Gonzalez. The song has an aching tenderness that builds to a stirring crescendo — meanwhile, the clip follows the life of a space program chimp who’s fortunate enough to blast off just before the whole planet turns to shit:
