'mostly' new order live from brussels


In other reunion news, New Order performed live for the first time in five years last night in Brussels, Belgium. The gig, a charity concert for longtime video collaborator Michael Shamberg, happily featured Gillian Gilbert — but unfortunately was without estranged bassist Peter Hook.

Bad Lieutenant bassist Tom Chapman filled in as the band played a 15-song set featuring material from every era. They’ll do it again tonight in Paris — hopefully with a few new surprises.
