mgmt cover bauhaus 'all we ever wanted was everything'


Brooklynites MGMT are the latest band to curate the Late Night Tales mix series, which apparently is a contest to see how obscure and esoteric you can get while claiming your influences.

The 20-track collection will be available October 4th. You can listen to previews of all the songs here, but the MGMT cover of Bauhaus‘ “All We Ever Wanted Was Everything” is making the rounds today. This is just a preview, but it gives a good taste of the psychedelic flavor they add to the goth classic:
