Toronto’s Tokyo Police Club have teamed up with Polaroid and a few of their musician friends for 10 Days/10 Covers/10 Years.

It appears they’re going in chronological order, as first up is Moby’s 2001 jam “South Side” featuring Morgan Kibbie of M83:

Today’s track from 2002 might be more recognizable. It’s the full throttle emo assault of Jimmy Eat World’s “Sweetness” complete with Passion Pit’s Michael Angelakos handling the high parts:

This fun and nonsense will continue every day until September 3rd. So far, they’ve hinted that 2003 will be “Under Control” by The Strokes and 2004 will be Kelly Clarkson power pop smash “Since U Been Gone.”
